Classic Leather Chest Harness
This is our LEATHER64TEN Classic Leather Chest Harness. It is sometimes also referred to as a Cross Harness or X Harness. The Classic is made of soft sewn leather or latigo leather in a variety of colors and has 4 adjustable buckles or snaps in your choice of hardware color.
Since we make all of our harnesses in house, we can allow you to customize your harnesses just to your liking. If you don’t see an option listed here that you would like to have please reach out to us. If you can dream it up, we can make it. Custom is what we love to do!
Type of leather: The Sewn style is stitched and has a clean finish with a soft edge. The Latigo style, on the other hand, is a thicker and more rugged finish and takes some time to be broken in. Latigo is available in black and usually white. (Other colors possible by request at market price).
Leather widths: 1″ or 1.5″. (1.5 is our standard harness.)
Clasp type: Snaps or Buckles (with Eyelets). Buckles are only available on 1.5″ leather widths.
Leather Colors: Black is our basic color. We offer other colors but each dye lot may vary.
Hardware Colors: Our basics are nickel and brass but black is available in rings and eyelets. We have some color powder coated hardware. Contact us for availability.
Secondary Leather Color – Black: Refers to the under layer of black leather on a sewn leather style that make a margin/edge of black and is our standard.
Secondary Leather Color – None: All one leather color is priced higher accordingly.
Harnesses are made to order in our Chicago workshop. Please allow time for your harness to be made to order.
